Definition of monte carlo method

1) a
semi-empirical method for determining molecular dynamics of a
system.  What you do is to move the particles via a random
method.  Whether or not this new configuration is accepted depends
on 1)  If the PE is not greater than before the change, it is
accepted.  2)  If it is accepted, it is accepted in proportion
to how much the potential change is for all the particles in the
system.
