Definition of reynold’s number

1)
characterizes the onset of turbulence in a tube.  Re = 2vr(rho)/n,
where n=viscosity, r=radius of tube, rho=density of the fluid, v=velocity
of the fluid;  If Re<2000, there is laminar flow;  if
Re>2000, there is turbulent flow.
